REFLECTION

What have I learned in this module?
I've gained a deeper understanding of design principles, even though I was familiar with most of them before. This module encouraged me to delve further into their application in design.

What did I enjoy the most?
Task 3 design was my favorite. I appreciated the freedom to explore any design I liked, and I found the process of creating artwork highly enjoyable. Seeing the final product gave me a sense of accomplishment.

What did I enjoy the least?
I didn't particularly enjoy Task 1 and Task 2 because I struggle with analysis and articulating my thoughts in writing. Additionally, while I'm interested in the lecture videos, I found taking notes to be tedious.

What have I learned about myself through this module?
I've realized that I tend to rely on intuition rather than analysis when evaluating artworks. This module has provided me with clearer criteria for assessing artwork. Moreover, I've come to recognize that many of my ideas may currently exceed my skill level.

What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
My interest in design remains strong, and I hope to incorporate more design principles into my work going forward, thereby continuing to learn and grow.

What could be improved in this module?
For me, this module was already quite good and not as dull as I had anticipated.

  1. I absolutely enjoy seeing how meaningful your final work is. You do have a way to tell a meaningful story using the resources at your disposal including your amazing drawing skills. I encourage you to stay who you are and stay authentic. This means capitalize on your intuition and then look back and reflect. Use your intuition more. learn to use it as your weapon, your tool and your medium to express, communicate and to reach out. You will learn more about yourself as time goes on. Well done!
