Reflection

Experience:
Among all the tasks, I believe task 3 was the most difficult and challenging, but it was possibly just the beginning of my journey into typography. Through this task, I was introduced to the world of font design, which was a fascinating and novel experience for me. During the design process, I frequently encountered various challenges, but the sense of achievement after creating the final product was unparalleled. I learned a lot from various tasks, although I must admit that the initial lectures' videos were a bit dull, but I understood their necessity. Throughout the semester, I felt that I was making progress, and I started developing an interest in typography.

Observation:

I found Mr. Vinod's feedback to be crucial as it helped me understand the shortcomings in my designs, and his appreciation served as a part of my motivation. This template has indeed influenced some of my habits. Now, whenever I pass by a shop, I observe the typography on its signage, pay attention to the fonts on license plates, and even analyze the typesetting while reading books. These are all details I never paid attention to before.

Findings:

Typography is actually closely intertwined with our daily lives, and its presence can be found everywhere. However, I am only just beginning to truly comprehend its significance. I have developed a newfound admiration for every designer because experiencing it firsthand has made me realize the immense effort required to create a design, while also adhering to numerous rules.
